Meet Your "Other" Employees: The Basic Parts of a CNC Machine (part 2 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

THE CHUCK

The chuck holds the cutting tool. Sophisticated designs require maximum chuck precision so the actual design can be realized.

THE MOTOR

The motor rotates the chuck at very high speed. It is hidden and protected inside the machine. You have to take care of this part very carefully. Nowadays, cooling and lubrication is automated in most CNC machines. Usually, if this part doesn’t function well, it is the most difficult to treat. It is advised to have a CNC technician handy all the time.

THE LATHE BED

Like the sea bed, this is the sturdy base of the CNC machine. It is connected to the headstock and aids the carriage and tailstock to be parallel with the spindle’s axis. It is securely bolted so it remains unshaken by the vibration of the machine when it starts operating.

THE CUTTING TOOL/ CUTTER

This is the where the first-level shaping occurs. The cutter is usually made from high quality steel so as to cut the specific material fed to the CNC machine.

As a businessman, it is important that you get to know your employees, bond with them and earn their respect without scaring them. When you have CNC machines working for you, it is equally important that you understand them well. Do not be fooled by the CNC machine salesmen who court your interest because they are usually just after your purchase.

You have to master what comprises these machines, what makes them dysfunctional and most of all, what makes them stay in your company. Just don’t start talking to them. That would be really, really, dysfunctional.

Meet Your "Other" Employees: The Basic Parts of a CNC Machine (part 1 of 2)

If you carve your name on a wood using a very sophisticated font, you’re lucky if you’ll finish your first name in 24 hours perfectly. Years ago, wood crafting and metal crafting are very expensive massive- labor industries because every aspect of the manufacturing is done by hand. There was minimal machine intervention but the designs were still as intricate.

Today, with the help of technology, wood carving, metal molding, cutting and even finishing can be done simultaneously with minimal hands involved. In fact, a company is deemed unproductive if it mass produces products every day BY HAND.

CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines are in demand in industries where hands are better off pushing buttons than doing actual labor. Businessmen are raving about this wonder-machine because it is accurate, speedy and flexible.

The CNC machine is actually a factory of its own. There are different parts that have specific functions. Let’s get to know the “factory workers”.

THE VICE

The Vice is what holds the material which is to be cut or molded.  It is important that the vice must be tight; so the material will be held securely. When the CNC machine starts to operate, the material will dash out of the vice if it is not secured. The vice usually works like a clamp that needs to hold the material not just securely but also in the right position.

THE GUARD

The Guard—just like any other guard—works like a “protection” to the person operating the CNC machine. Once the CNC starts working, scraps of the material can “shoot off” at high speed. This is very risky for the operator if a piece hits him/her. The guard completely covers all the hazardous sides of the CNC machine.

How to Save in Times of Economic Recession (part 2 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

3. Learn to recycle food
Food can be eaten the next day. Just put it inside the refrigerator after eating and then reheat it the next day. Make sure though that you use serving spoon for the dishes to avoid spoilage. Practice clean hygiene too when you are eating to also minimize spoilage.

If your family do not want to eat the same dish for the next day, be creative and whip up a new dish using the old one that you cooked. Some people fry or grill the dish or use the dish as an ingredient into another dish. It's up to you.

4. Walk!
With the rising prices of gas, a kilometer can cost you a lot! So, bring out those rubber shoes and prepare to walk those blocks. If you are just going to visit a neighbor or just buying bread from the local store a couple of blocks away, use the trip to do some brisk walking. Doing this will save your money and will also save you from illnesses. Remember that walking is a very good exercise. Not only does it help in building the muscles in the legs and in keeping people fit, it also strengthens the lungs and the heart.

5. Save on water and electricity
You may not realize it but you may be paying more for your utilities than most people with the same number of people in your households. So, don’t waste those water and electricity. Turn off the lights when you leave the room or when you are going to sleep. Put your television sets in sleep mode or on automatic shut off. When it comes to water, shut off the faucet when you are soaping your hands.

That way, you are not wasting money paying off utilities that you are not actually using. This will go a long long way when it comes to dealing with economic recession.

How to Save in Times of Economic Recession (part 1 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

Economic recession is gripping the country. This can be seen in the job losses and the rapidly increasing cost of living in the United States. This is perhaps why the upcoming elections is all the more crucial as it would determine just who will be "unlucky" enough to preside over such a messy economic condition. But politics aside, there are ways to survive the economic recession while the race to the elections is still going on. Here are some tips on how to deal with this cashless scenario.

1. Don't waste food
Food like veggies and bread may not be as expensive as other products such as meat, fish and rice but this does not mean that you can waste it or throw the food away. Teach your kids to get only the food that they can eat and if they want more, they can always get a second helping. This way, no food is wasted especially now that you can't afford to throw away food.

2. Plan your meals
Plan your meals ahead by making a dish schedule at home. This will allow you to determine what to buy at the groceries at a particular time. Having a schedule also allows you to know how much is needed so that you will not be buying more than you can chew literally.

In planning meals, make sure also that you include dishes that is more or less similar in ingredients. That way, you can buy in bulk for the rest of the week, which is less costly, but will be able to use the ingredients in multiple dishes.

Fish Oil: Your Ultimate Defense Against Silent Inflammation (part 2 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

However, taking fish oil as defenses to silent inflammation has a drawback, it might lead you to contamination. So in taking  fish oil as dietary supplement, Dr. Barry Sears cautioned to ensure that its ultra-refined and use the SIP as guidance for exact dosage. On a scale of 1 to 10 for supplements, Dr. Sears give high-dose fish oil a 12. The EPA found in fish oil partially inhibits the activity of the delta-5 desaturase enzyme that makes AA.

This represents the primary anti-inflammatory effect of fish oil, he adds. To achieve a significant impact on AA production, a person must provide a lot of EPA. A high-dose fish oil, especially rich in EPA will likely lead you to success in reducing silent inflammation as reflected in the reduction of the AA/EPA ratio. The ratio can be measured by SIP.

The public and the mainstream medicine are starting to accept the importance of insulin control to well-being. Now is the perfect time to bring to public's attention the role of eicosanoids and the way high-dose fish oil can manipulate them. Dr. Barry Sears that the role of fish oil in medical practice because it tells us that medical care is based primarily on the food we eat, not the drugs we take.

Recent genetic research is forcing scientists to evaluate the value of fish oil in the evolution of modern humANS. It was genetic scientists who initiated the theory that consumption of high-dose fish oil was the reason why humans have the power to conquer the earth. A proper combination of insulin and high-dose pharmaceutical-grade fish oil may be the true miracle cure for the 21st century.

Fish oil is so effective that having this dietary supplement is like having a miracle drug that has the perfect balance between eicosanoids with totally zero side effects.

Fish Oil: Your Ultimate Defense Against Silent Inflammation (part 1 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

Silent inflammation has been linked to heart disease, cancer and dementia. It is a condition that occurs when the body's natural immune response goes awry. Silent inflammation is an inflammation without pain and it can continue undetected for years, continually assaulting your heart, arteries and even the brain - without you noticing it.

According to Dr. Barry Sears, author of bestselling books "The Zone," high carbohydrate diet is the culprit to this kind of health situation. In his boos "The Anti-inflammation Zone," he had proposed taking supplements of high dose, ultra-refined fish oil as the best armor against inflammation.

The Japanese manage to maintain a state of wellness and away from silent inflammation by consuming copious amounts of fish. However, according to a research, the massive amounts of fish does not ensure them enough intake of omega-3 fatty acids or fish oil. Fish oil is ultimately the healthiest fat around because it has profiund anti-inflammatory properties. It has no long-term side effects and can even make you smarter.

The reason why high-dose fish oil is so effective is because it reduces arachodonic acid (AA) which is the building block of pro-inflammatory eicosanoids. By taking it within 30 days, fish oil will increase your levels of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). Fish oil is the only dietary supplement that is supported by robust clinical studes by treating chronic conditions like heart disease, cancer, immunological and inflammatory diseases, and neurological conditions like attention deficit disorder, depression, multiple sclerosis, and different types of dementia.

Backyard Bird Watching (part 2 of 2)

The plant lay-out or the spacing between trees and shrubs are all important factors when taking into consideration our avian friends.  It is important to consider to provide open spaces that should be well protected from wind and street noise, since these noise does not appeal to birds.

Increasing the number of plants in your backyard, guaranteed more birds will be starting to get cover.  You can even try to create a layered garden to provide richness and diversity in your garden.  You can add layers by planting clusters of shade loving small trees, shrubs and ground covers under taller trees.  They would look a little bit close to the natural woodland.

A good thing about bird watching or keeping bird watching atmosphere in your backyard, is that your garden tends to be an organic garden.  The birds helped in controlling the garden pests and diseases with an arsenal of chemicals, organic gardening balances the ecosystem healthily.

A working knowledge of organic gardening is important to a gardener intent on attracting birds and butterflies.  Using plants native to your region reduces the need for pesticide use since native plants are resistant to local pets and disease.

There is nothing better than watching colourful birds fly around a native and natural garden that almost look like the bird’s natural habitat. This makes sure that birds will be coming back in our backyard.   Bird watching is a pastime many people can enjoy and do without leaving your house or the city.

Backyard Bird Watching (part 1 of 2)

You do not have to go far to enjoy the joys and happiness of bird watching.  Our own backyards can serve as the fun place where new bird watchers can start learning from the basics.

To construct the best birdwatching area  in your backyard, you can make use the service  of bird feeders.  Getting bird feeders is making sure that birds never ran out. Make sure you research how far away from each other the feeders should be.  What to feed them is another thing that you should know something about.

Just like the feeders, the food that you select should depend in large part on what type of birds you are hoping to attract and where you live. Some of the more common types of bird feed are sunflower seeds, cracked corn, and thistle. Often found in a mix, pour this type of seed into a hopper type feeder to meet the needs of several different species at one backyard bird watching station.

Since you have constructed some feeders, which are very good ways of experiencing the birds on a greater level, you should ensure that the created place for backyard watching gets the complete view.  Remove low hanging branches that may block your view.  Do this when there are no bird around feeding on the feeders, sudden change in environment may disrupt their behaviour patterns.

Now that you are ready to begin your observations, you will find that you need some kind of magnifying device in order to see the birds better. A basic pair of binoculars to watch is usually sufficient for beginners, though you may find it better to mount a spotting scope near a bird watching picture window in your home. These optical devices will greatly increase your ability to identify birds and to get to them by their distinct markings and behaviours.
